The World Boxing Council, referred to as WBC
The World Boxing Council was founded in 1963 and headquartered in Mexico City, the President Suleiman. This organization by the United States most national and international management groups to form, and received the support of New York State Sports Committee, while bringing together the European Boxing Union, the United Kingdom boxing Union, Latin American Boxing Union, the United States Boxing Association and some states in Asia, African Boxing Union countries. It is more inclined to a global, more inclusive organization. Most of their income to the promotion of boxing, to protect athletes and improve medical facilities.
In 1979, WBC was rebuilt, and now has become the world’s most famous and most powerful professional boxing organizations.
